  in today's wt study, 9th sept 2018, para 14. we learnt that jesus mother, mary, is one of the 144.000 anointed at penticost.

  They go beyond what is written Every. Single. Time. Multiple Times. Even in small unnoticeable ways. Notice this quote from today's study:

  But how can we put ourselves in a position to be known by Jehovah? We do that when we come to love him and dedicate our life to him.​—Read 1 Corinthians 8:3.

  This is what the read scripture says:

  But if anyone loves God, this one is known by him.

  Nothing about "dedication" to Jehovah, which is a completely unbiblical concept.

  I meant particularly the way he's standing perfectly straight and at the center with light straight above his head is kind of reminiscent of middle ages depictions of Jesus.

  There was goody night for the old book study. Now, there's large meals for pioneer schools, elder school, attendant school/convention practice, CO visit, at times for the public talk speaker, basically anything other than a regular meeting.

  hey guys, so, i went to the hall today with my parents (they needed a ride) and there was this song that i wasn't familiar with.

  must be a new song or i might be simply ignorant of jw songs (i hate them).

  to my surprise i actually liked this song.

  I've heard that before about song 42 and I honestly don't get it. Just a little bit of the pacing matches up, but it's otherwise couldn't be more different, both in tone and where it ends up going.
